Elements Casino in Cloverdale, Surrey
Elements Casino is Surrey's own casino, out in Cloverdale. This page covers where it sits, what is on the floor, who is buying it, and what happened to the racetrack beside it.
The room as it stands
You will find Elements Casino Surrey in Cloverdale, at 17755 60 Ave, Surrey, BC V3S 1V3. The phone number is (604) 576-9141. Surrey is a big city, so check the map from your own part of town before assuming it is close.
The gaming floor packs in over 500 machines, slots and electronic table games together. Live tables cover Blackjack, a Texas Hold'em table game, Four Card Poker, Baccarat and Roulette. You need to be 19 to play, as everywhere in British Columbia.
A sale, not a closure
Great Canadian Entertainment announced a deal to sell Elements Casino Surrey on March 9, 2026. The buyer is the Se-mi-ah-mu Development Corporation, the economic development arm of Semiahmoo First Nation. The deal still needs regulatory approvals. The City of Surrey owns the land, so its sign-off is needed too.
Nothing in the announcement says the casino is closing. It is a change of owner. Until the deal closes, the guide simply lists the room as it is, and the venue's own page stays the word on hours.
Racing at Fraser Downs has ended
Harness racing at Fraser Downs ended on August 15, 2025. The grounds belong to the City of Surrey, which terminated the lease so it could redevelop the Cloverdale fairgrounds area. The casino itself was not affected.
The track opened in 1976 as Cloverdale Raceway and became Fraser Downs in 1996. After a renovation, the casino reopened as Elements in December 2015. The fuller story of the track has its own page on this guide.
